‘I had requested the state government to revoke my security. But the government has not responded to my request’, said Anna Hazare
PUNE| Social activist Anna Hazare has demanded that the security provided to him by the government be withdrawn. On Friday Hazare wrote a letter to Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray asking to remove his provided security.
He claimed, ‘Security cover for me is a waste of public money’. He also said, ‘Many people had threatened me in the past, but I always ignored them’.

Hazare letter read as “I had requested the state government to revoke my security. But the government has not responded to my request. In the meantime, I came to know that the government is revoking the security of some people. Therefore I am also requesting you to withdraw my security”.
