Signs of Third Wave? Coronavirus Cases On Rise Again In Several States

Kerala has the highest number of 14,539 Coronavirus patients. At the same time, it has also reached the top in terms of active caseload.

 

Coronavirus cases in the country are rising again steadily which has sent alarm bells ringing. In the last 24 hours, 40,215 new patients were found, 42,338 recovered and 623 lost their lives. Kerala has the highest number of 14,539 patients. At the same time, it has also reached the top in terms of active case i.e. patients undergoing treatment. Now 1,15,184 patients are undergoing treatment here. In this case, Maharashtra is on the second number with 1,04,406 active cases.

Lockdown-like restrictions in 8 states

There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 8 states of the country. These include West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in previous lockdowns.

 

Partial lockdown in 23 States / UTs

There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There is also a waiver with restrictions. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat is included.
