Sonia Gandhi while addressing the CWC speaks about J&K killings

New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi is addressing the Congress Working committee meet today. She is right now speaking about the Jammu and Kashmir targeted killings.

Sonia said, “In recent days, there has been a sudden spurt in killings in Jammu and Kashmir Minorities clearly have been targeted This must be condemned in the strongest possible terms We have done so & I do so again this morning.”

She added, “J&K has been a UT for 2 years The entire responsibility for bringing the perpetrators of these barbaric crimes to justice is that of Union Government Restoring social peace and harmony and confidence amongst the people in J&K rests with Modi Govt too.”

She further said, “There has always been a broad consensus on foreign & neighbourhood policy in our country But that consensus has been damaged because of PM continued reluctance to take Opposition into confidence in any meaningful manner.”

“Foreign policy has become diabolical instrument of electoral mobilization & polarization We face serious challenges on our borders & on other fronts,” Sonia said.

“We face serious challenges on our borders and on other fronts. PM telling Opposition leaders last year that there had not been any occupation of our territory by China & his silence ever since is costing our nation dearly.” Mrs Gandhi said.
