Three years of Demonetization: Priyanka Gandhi slams Modi government

The Modi government had November 8, 2016, imposed Demonetization. With this, the old notes of 1000 and 500 were taken out of circulation. On Friday, it completed three years.

 

New Delhi| Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi has lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Demonetization. Priyanka tweeted on Friday, “It has been three years since the Demonetization was imposed. All claims for ‘conditional cure for all diseases’ by the government were dashed one by one. The noteban was a disaster that destroyed our economy. Who will take responsibility for this ‘Tughlaqi’ step? ”

The Modi government had November 8, 2016, imposed noteban. On Friday, it completed three years. Priyanka tweeted on Thursday about the economy, “The state of the economy in the country is very bad. The service sector has fallen. Employment is declining. The governing body is cool in itself, the people are suffering on every front. ”

‘Money laundering for the economy proved disastrous’

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted, “I had said immediately after the announcement of the noteban that it would be devastating to the economy and millions of people.”

“Renowned economists, common people and all the experts are now in agreement. RBI data also reported the same. The economic disaster had started since the note closure. Farmers, youth, employees and businessmen were all affected by this,” she said.
