New Delhi| On the occasion of Republic Day 2021, the farmers who were taking out the tractor parade clashed with the Delhi Police in the morning. The protesting farmers broke the barricades planted by the police. The farmers then entered the capital. Earlier, a temporary wall was erected overnight at Karnal bypass in the capital to stop the farmers’ tractor rally. Earlier, in view of the tractor parade of farmers, Delhi Traffic Police on Monday issued a separate Traffic Advisory On Republic Day, warning people not to pass through the tractor parade route, to avoid inconvenience.

The farmers were adamant on taking the tractor parade from UP Gate to Akshardham. Due to the deadlock, the Delhi Police on Monday evening closed the path coming from Delhi at UP Gate Border. Traffic coming towards Ghaziabad has been diverted from Ghazipur. In such a situation, there may be a confrontation regarding taking out the parade on Tuesday.

In addition to celebrating farmers’ tractor rally in Delhi on Republic Day, you will be able to go to Delhi as usual without any hindrance. Police have been deployed as a precaution at other border points including Sarhaul, Mehrauli, Kapashera in the city. Blockade has been done. But there is no restriction for traffic. Only the tractor will not be able to go through the border going for the rally.
