NEW DELHI| The Former Congress Leader Sachin Pilot, newly sacked as Rajasthan deputy chief minister and state chief by the Congress party, said that truth cannot be defeated.

Pilot soon after Congress party decision to sack him came, tweeted in short (in Hindi), “Truth can be disturbed, not defeated”. Two other state cabinet ministers, Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena, were also sacked from their posts.

The Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said, “I regret that Sachin Pilot and some of his associates have been swayed by the BJP’s plot and are now conspiring to topple the Congress govt elected by 8 crore Rajasthanis. It is unacceptable.”

Pilot’s sacking came after a meeting of the Congress Legislative Party. A resolution was passed to sack Sachin Pilot as the Rajasthan Congress president and authorisation was given to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for sacking his deputy.

Gehlot did not address the media after the decision was taken by Congress to sack Pilot and two of his loyalists. The chief minister headed straight to Governor Kalraj Mishra to inform him about the reshuffling of the state cabinet. After Pilot removal, the Congress appointed Govind Singh Dotasra as Rajasthan PCC Chief.
