Unlock 5: Cinema Halls To Open With 50% Capacity, Maharashtra Extends Lockdown Till Oct 31

While Centre issued Unlock-5 guidelines, Maharashtra govt has extended the lockdown in the state till October 31 but many restrictions have been eased.

 

 

New Delhi| Amid the raging pandemic, Unlock-5 guidelines were released on Wednesday. Given the festival season, the government has eased the restrictions in Unlock-5. The Centre has approved the opening of cinema halls and multiplexes from October 15. Swimming pools will also be opened for the training of players. Besides, the government has also given approval to open entertainment parks.

What are the restrictions eased in Unlock-5?

Multiplexes, theaters and cinemas will be opened with a seating capacity of 50% of the total capacity. For this, the centre will issue SOP.
State governments will be allowed to take a decision after October 15 to open schools and coaching institutes. However, family approval will be required for this.

Meanwhile Maharashtra govt has extended the lockdown in the state till October 31 but many restrictions have been eased. Restaurants, food courts and bars in the state will open from October 5, with 50% capacity. All trains originating and ending their journeys within the state will also be allowed to start immediately.
