Chirag has raised a banner of revolt against Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U), declaring the unprecedented decision to quit the NDA and go solo in the assembly elections.

The grief of father’s passing, at a juncture that might be most critical in his political career, stressed Chirag Paswan too much, who fell unconscious after lighting the funeral pyre of his father Ram Vilas Paswan on Saturday.

Chirag Paswan, who’s been heading Lok Janshakti Party in the Bihar assembly elections, was a dutiful son who even played the barber for his father during the nationwide lockdown. However, Chirag has raised a banner of revolt against Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U), declaring the unprecedented decision to quit the NDA and go solo in the assembly elections.
