Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter account was temporarily locked over alleged violation of Twitter’s policy.
To protest against the micro-blogging site’s punitive action against party leader Rahul Gandhi, the Andhra Pradesh Congress workers staged a unique protest by frying what they called a “Twitter bird”.
Absurd. In a parallel universe, #AndhraPradesh #Congress workers fry what they call a ‘Twitter bird’ as a protest against #RahulGandhi ‘s account being blocked. They not only fried it but also couriered it to #Twitter headquarters. The man in video is former MP Harsha Kumar’s son. pic.twitter.com/LtC4e268pN

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter account was temporarily locked over alleged violation of Twitter’s policy, when the Congress leader raised the issue of rape of a minor Dalit girl in Delhi. The account was later unlocked by Twitter.
Now in a video doing the rounds on social media platforms, Congress workers can be seen frying the “Twitter bird”.
“Twitter, you have made a mistake by locking Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter account and not promoting our tweets. So, we are frying this (Twitter bird) and sending it to the headquarters in Gurgaon [Gurugram] and Delhi,”a Congress worker is heard saying in the video.
“Twitter, I hope you’ll enjoy your dish,” he said.
The Congress worker said they couriered it to the Twitter office in Gururgram and Delhi.
