#Watch: Hospital’s roof blown off due to the winds of Cyclone ‘Fani’

Bhubhaneshwar | The AIIMS building of Bhubhaneshwar suffered major damage due to the strong winds caused by the Cyclone ‘Fani’ which hit the coast of Puri today morning.

A video has been circulating in the social media which shows the roof disconnecting itself from the building and blowing off into the winds.

According to reports, the roof belongs to a hostel of the undergraduate students.

Meanwhile, IMD has said that in the next 3 hours, Cyclone Fani is expected to weaken with a wind speed of 150-160 km per hour, subsequently, it will weaken and move north-northeastwards. By evening, it may weaken into severe cyclonic storm over extreme northern part of Odisha.

Thousands of trees, houses electricity poles have been damaged.

More than one million have been evacuated by the government to shelter houses in safer parts of the state.
