Watch: Migrant Workers Gather Near Bandra Station In Huge Numbers, Police Disperse The Crowd

The state of Maharashtra has around 12-13 lakh migrant workers. The majority of the migrants are from states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, etc.

Mumbai| Today around 11 AM, migrant workers gathered in huge numbers near the east side of Bandra Terminus. It is being said that a train has been scheduled today leaving for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The train will depart at 4 PM. The police have dispersed the crowd for now.

The majority of the migrants are from states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, etc. The central government has allowed running Shramik trains for migrants along with special trains traveling from Delhi to major cities across the country.
