WATCH: Modi Govt Wants To Break The Backbone of Informal Sector, Says Rahul Gandhi

“India would not be able to generate jobs because the informal sector provides more than 90% of the employment,” Rahul Gandhi said in the video.

New Delhi| Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has started a video series to target the government on the issue of a declining economy. Sharing the first video on Twitter, Rahul Gandhi said on Monday, “The unfortunate truth of the economic tragedy the country is facing will be confirmed today. The Indian economy is in a huge recession for the first time in 40 years. Those who don’t speak the truth are blaming God for this.”

“Prime Minister needs media, marketing is needed to run this government. Media-marketing is done by 15-20 people. There are millions of crores of rupees in the informal sector. These people want to make money by breaking this sector. The result of this would be that India would not be able to generate employment because the informal sector provides more than 90% of the employment,” Rahul Gandhi said in the video.
