Ladakh | Newly-formed Union Territory Ladakh’s MP was seen celebrating with locals on the occason of India’s 73rd Independence Day.
MP Jamyang Namgyal, along with BJP leader Ram Madhav unfurled the Indian tricolour at the BJP office in Ladakh.

They paid tribute to HH Kushak Bakula Rinpochey, who was the leader who raised the demand for UT status for Ladakh.
Namgyal has also recorded a message wishing every Indian on the Independence Day.

This was the first Independence Day of the newly formed Union Territory Ladakh, who got bifurcated from the state of Jammu and Kashmir, after the Bill was passed in both the houses, also receiving President’s nod.
Jamyang Tsering Namgyal first got limelight after his speech in Parliament on Ladakh, praising PM Modi for the move, became viral.
