24 Hours On, Sanitation Worker Swept Away In Kerala Canal Yet To Be Found

It’s been 24 hours since a sanitation worker was swept away in a canal while cleaning in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram. Reports say rescue operations resumed today involving a 30-member National Disaster Response Force team, a scuba team, police and civic workers. Kerala’s labour minister said: “The fire and the rescue teams are working tirelessly fighting all odds.”
