30 Women Workers Faint Due To Ammonia Gas Leak In Tamil Nadu

On Saturday, about 30 women workers fainted due to an ammonia gas leak at a private fish processing plant in Tuticorin district, Tamil Nadu. An electrical malfunction on Friday night reportedly caused an ammonia cylinder to burst, releasing gas inside the plant in Pudur Pandiyapuram. The women experienced eye irritation, suffocation, and dizziness.
