On Friday, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed his endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that the Prime Minister has delivered justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
Kalyan made these remarks during a public event attended by PM Modi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
He said that the terrorist attack in Pahalgam marked a tragic day for our nation. Blood was shed in Kashmir, sending shockwaves throughout the country. He also said that he had seen and witnessed the pain of the victims.
He then stated, โHonourable PM Modi is leading country through this tough times and he assured all the citizens that stern actions will be taken against the perpetuators of terrorism,โ
PM Modiโs visit to Andhra Pradesh was to inaugurate and lay the foundation for projects totalling Rs 58,000 crore.
The Deputy Chief Minister also commended PM Modi for โshouldering the nationโs responsibilities.โ Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also addressed the audience, voicing his support for PM Modi.
Meanwhile, Naidu stated, โWe are with you, whole Andra is with you, the entire country is with you.โ
PM Modi also initiated Rs 49,000 crore projects in Amaravati, including key infrastructure like the Legislative Assembly and High Court.
Amaravati, a historic city, is stepping into the spotlight as a modern capital, nestled strategically between Vijayawada and Guntur.
The project started under Naiduโs government faced setbacks when the YSRCP government proposed a controversial three-capital plan.
As a result, the regionโs future remained uncertain amid protests, particularly from affected farmers. But now, these projects will restart Amravatiโs growth.
The state plans to extend Amaravati over 40,000 more acres, becoming a megacity by incorporating nearby areas such as Guntur, Vijayawada, Tadepalli, and Mangalagiri. As this expansion unfolds, significant upgrades will come in transportation. This includes the construction of new railways, the development of ring roads, and the addition of an airport.
