Army Deployed As Forest Fire Nears Nainitalโ€™s High Court Colony

Forest fires worsened in Uttarakhand, extending to Nainitalโ€™s High Court Colony. Three people were arrested in Rudraprayag for attempting to start fires. Within 24 hours, 31 new incidents were reported, devastating 33.34 hectares of forest land. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami urged officials to coordinate and prevent fires. The blaze disrupted traffic near Nainital.
