Baba Siddique Murder: Five More Arrested From Raigad District

In the latest development in the Baba Siddique murder case, The Mumbai Police on Friday arrested five more persons in connection with the killing of the former Maharashtra minister.

According to a report by Scroll, the police’s Crime Branch arrested them after carrying out raids in the Panvel and Karjat cities in the Raigad district. The arrested men have been identified as Nitin Sapre, Ram Kanojia, Sambhaji Pardhi, Pradeep Thombre, and Chetan Pardhi. The Mumbai police have arrested nine accused in the matter to date.

Meanwhile, Baba Siddique’s son and MLA Zeeshan Siddique took to the micro-blogging website X on Friday and wrote a cryptic pot.

“Not all that is hidden sleeps, Nor all that is visible speaks,” The Vandre East MLA said.
