At least eight Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Abujhmarh, Chhattisgarh. One security personnel died, and two others were injured during the two-day gunfight in Narayanpur district. Abujhmarh, a hilly and forested area spanning Narayanpur, Bijapur, and Dantewada districts, is known for Maoist activities. The clash began this morning during a joint anti-Naxal operation by security personnel from four districts, according to PTI.
