BJP MLA Mihir Kotecha on Thursday raised the issue of Pollution in Mumbai weather in the Maharashtra Assembly.
The BJP leader lashed out at the previous MVA government alleging them to halt the metro project for 2.5 years.
“The central government had provided 3600 crore rupees in the year 2021-22 to the Maharashtra government under the national clean air program and till February 2022 not a single penny was spent by the MVA government.”
“Later they gave a tender of 200 Electric BEST buses which they increased to 900 when they realized that the fund will lapse in a month’s time and when I exposed this they canceled the tender.” The BJP leader said.
He further said the then environment minister (Aaditya Thackeray) cheated Mumbaikars in the name of environment.
