After extensive deliberations, the Mahayuti coalition in Maharashtra, comprising the BJP, Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde, and NCP led by Ajit Pawar, has made progress in their discussions on seat allocation. According to reports, the NDA allies have finalized four constituencies for the NCP to field its candidates. Ajit Pawar’s faction of the NCP will contest in Baramati, Raigarh, Shirur, and Parbhani. Under the agreement, BJP will contest 31 seats, while Shiv Sena will contest 13.
