Boat Capsizing In Odishaโ€™s Mahanadi River Claims Seven Lives

Seven fatalities occurred as a boat carrying about 50 passengers capsized in Odishaโ€™s Jharsuguda district on Friday. Search and rescue efforts persisted into Saturday, with one person still missing. Six bodies were recovered on Saturday morning, with a seventh found late Friday night. The boat was ferrying passengers from Bargarh district to Saradha Ghat in Jharsuguda.
