The Calcutta High Court has requested a response from the National Testing Agency (NTA) regarding alleged irregularities in the 2024 NEET (UG) exams. Justices Apurba Sinha Ray and Kausik Chanda heard the case. The petitioner questioned the feasibility of candidates scoring 718 or 719 out of 720, citing inconsistencies with the marking system. The court asked the NTA to file an affidavit within ten days, referencing a Supreme Court judgment used to justify the high scores.
