Prominent Rajput leader Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi’s supporters have called for a Rajasthan shutdown following his assassination at his Jaipur residence.
Gogamedi, leading the fringe group Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, was shot by three men who had shared tea with him in his living room, as revealed by CCTV footage.

Gangster Rohit Godara, linked to Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi’s gangs, claimed responsibility on Facebook. Gogamedi and two associates sustained gunshot wounds, with the leader declared dead at the hospital.
A gunfight ensued, resulting in one attacker’s death. The murder triggered protests in Rajasthan amid ongoing political changes after BJP’s recent electoral victory over Congress.
