PM Modi said, “I respect Mallikarjun Kharge. But Congress Party does not know that Gujarat is full of Ram Bhakts”
Gandhinagar: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘Ravan’ while addressing a rally in Poll-bound Gujarat. Giving a fitting reply to Kharge, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the rally at Kalol said the Congress party which does not believe in the existence of Ram Mandir and Ram, is calling me Ravan.
Addressing the rally PM Modi said, “I respect Mallikarjun Kharge. But Congress Party does not know that Gujarat is full of Ram Bhakts. Now in front of Ram Bhakts, you call Modi Ji Ravan? Congress does not believe in lord Ram’s existence, and this Congress party just to abuse me calls me Ravan.”
He added, “I am not shocked about Congress abusing me, I am shocked over Congress not feeling guilty about it. Congress thinks that they have the right to abuse the nation’s prime minister. Only if they believed in democracy, Congress would have not dared to say so.”
He said in the Congress party there is competition of who can abuse PM Modi the most.
Further, he said, “I am a son of Gujarat. You are my teacher. I am trying to work from whatever I have learned from you and this hurts Congress the most.”

Addressing a public rally in Ahmedabad’s Behrampura, Congress leader Mallikarjun Karge said, “We see your face in corporation elections, MLA elections or MP elections, everywhere! Do you have 100 heads like Ravan?”
“I’ve been seeing that votes are sought in the name of Modiji, be it municipality elections, corporation elections (or Assembly elections). Ask for a vote in the name of the candidate is Modi going to come and work at the municipality? Is he going to help you in times of your need?”, a senior Congress leader said, attacking PM Modi.
Hitting back at Mallikarjun Kharge for insulting PM Modi, BJP IT Cell Chief Amit Malviya said, “Unable to take the heat of Gujarat election, pushed to the fringe, Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge loses control over his words, calls Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Ravan”. From “Maut ka Saudagar” to “Ravan”, Congress continues to insult Gujarat and it’s son.”
