On Friday, the Afghanistan embassy declared the permanent shutdown of its operations in New Delhi, citing โongoing challenges from the Indian government.โ
In an official statement regarding the closure of its diplomatic mission in the national capital, the Afghan embassy stated, โCommencing from November 23, due to persistent challenges from the Indian government.โ

โThe decision comes after the embassy previously halted operations on September 30, with the expectation that a positive shift in the Indian governmentโs stance would allow the mission to resume normal functions,โ the statement explained.
