On Friday, the Afghanistan embassy declared the permanent shutdown of its operations in New Delhi, citing “ongoing challenges from the Indian government.”
In an official statement regarding the closure of its diplomatic mission in the national capital, the Afghan embassy stated, “Commencing from November 23, due to persistent challenges from the Indian government.”

“The decision comes after the embassy previously halted operations on September 30, with the expectation that a positive shift in the Indian government’s stance would allow the mission to resume normal functions,” the statement explained.
