BJP leader Savitri Thakur, who serves as the Minister of State for Women and Child Development and is a Lok Sabha member, misspelled the slogan “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” as “Beddi Padao Bachav” at a “School Chalo Abhiyan” event in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. This mistake drew criticism from the Opposition, especially the Congress, questioning her educational qualifications.
Congress leader KK Mishra criticized her literacy, calling it a “misfortune of democracy.” According to her affidavit, Thakur has studied up to class 12 and is still not competent even in their mother tongue. How can they be capable of running their ministry?”
