On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that the country has suffered a lot due to dynastic politics, without naming the Congress party and other opposition parties. “India is the mother of democracy. The greater the participation of youth in democracy, the better the country’s future will be. If the youth come into active politics, the politics of dynasticism will diminish. Due to dynastic politics, the country has suffered a lot,” Modi has also attacked the opponents,” he said in his address at the National Youth Day programme at Nashik.
At the same time, Modi, who mentioned Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as the popular CM, exhorted youth to do such work that India’s name will be written in golden letters.
“Swami Vivekananda’s guidance is inspiring for the youth of the country. The country’s economy is among the top five in the world. The number of startup companies in the country is among the top three in the world. More than one innovation is happening in the country now. India is becoming a manufacturing hub; its backbone is the youth.
A record number of patents are entering from across the country. Due to the strength of India’s youth, the country’s reputation is resounding worldwide. Behind India’s success is the youth generation. It is your responsibility to take the country to new heights in this nectar festival of freedom,” said Modi amid cheers from the participants. He added that he has the most faith in the youth of India, saying that he aims to bring the country’s economy to the top three, and youth can contribute in a big way to achieve it.
“Even today, we remember the revolutionaries. They had destroyed the British. Before independence, great men contributed a lot to the country; they lived for the country and died for it. Time gives everyone a chance in his lifetime. This is an opportunity for the youth of India. This is the period of Amrit Kaal. Today, the youth has the power to make history. Youth have a golden opportunity to make history,” he said.
Modi said that during the ten10-year rule, the government at the Centre had tried to create more opportunities for youth to fulfil their dreams, adding that the government worked faster than the previous governments.
The PM called upon youth to carry out cleanliness drives at all pilgrimage sites in the country by January 22, when the Ram Mandir will be inaugurated at Ayodhya.
Modi said there has been an overwhelming response to Mera Yuva Bharat Sangathan as more than one crore youth have been registered even though it has not been 75 days since its establishment. “We tried to remove all barriers to free the youth. We have tried to give them scope in every field in the last ten years. We are committed to a modern and dynamic ecosystem,” he announced.
