In a significant setback for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi High Court paused the Rouse Avenue Court’s order granting him bail in a money laundering case related to the scrapped excise policy. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had challenged the trial court’s decision. A vacation bench of Justices Sudhir Kumar Jain and Ravinder Dudeja ordered a stay on trial court proceedings until the High Court hears the case, keeping Kejriwal in jail until then.
