Preparations were made at Tihar jail as per Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s requests. Kejriwal, sent to jail until April 15 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case, had his legal representatives present five demands during Monday’s hearing.
These include providing him with medicines for his diabetes, giving him permission to have three books, Bhagavad Geeta, Ramayan, and How Prime Ministers Decide, retaining his religious locket, making special dietary arrangements, and providing him with a table and chair in jail.
