ED Gets 5-Day Custody Of Hemant Soren

The Enforcement Directorate secured five daysโ€™ custody of ex-Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren in a land fraud probe. The Supreme Court declined to entertain Sorenโ€™s petition contesting his ED arrest, advising him to seek relief from the Jharkhand High Court. Justices Sanjiv Khanna, MM Sundresh, and Bela M Trivedi formed the special bench.
