HC Rejects Kejriwal’s Interim Bail Plea, Imposes ₹75k Fine

On Monday, the Delhi High Court rejected a plea seeking “extraordinary interim bail” for Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in criminal cases related to alleged irregularities in the now-repealed 2021-22 Delhi excise policy. The court fined the petitioner ₹75,000, stating the plea wasn’t viable as it didn’t challenge judicial orders concerning Kejriwal’s custody.
