In response to heavy rains cutting off parts of Sikkim, Indian Army engineers constructed a 150-foot suspension bridge in north Sikkim in under 48 hours. The bridge, built over a river with water flowing at over 20 knots, has restored connectivity to border villages, providing relief to locals affected by severe weather.
