Indiaโ€™s Population To Peak At 1.7 Billion By 2060s: Report

Indiaโ€™s population is predicted to peak at 1.7 billion in the early 2060s before declining by 12%, according to a United Nations report. Despite the decline, India will remain the most populous nation through 2100, surpassing China. The World Population Prospects 2024 report was published by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
