Thirty-eight medical students from Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) in Karnataka faced penalties for recording Instagram reels within the hospital premises. Their housemanship training period was extended by ten days due to violating hospital rules. The institute’s director, Dr Basavaraj Bommanhalli, emphasized the seriousness of the error and urged proper conduct.
