Karnataka Employee’s Suicide Over ‘Forced Corruption’ Causes Uproar

A 50-year-old employee of Karnataka’s Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation, Chandrasekaran P, allegedly died by suicide, citing coercion by senior officials into misappropriating Rs 187 crore. In a six-page suicide note, he blamed JG Padmanabha, Parashuram, and Union Bank of India’s Shuchita for the pressure. He was found hanging at his Shivamogga residence.
