On Thursday, the BJP unveiled its third list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections slated to commence on April 19, 2024. Among the nominees announced, the ruling party has nominated K Annamalai, the Tamil Nadu state unit chief, to contest from Coimbatore and Tamilsai Soundrarajan, former Telangana Governor, to run from the Chennai South constituency.
With intentions to vie for 20 out of the 39 parliamentary seats in Tamil Nadu, the BJP has disclosed nine candidates for the state.
The list includes:
• Chennai South: Tamilsai Soundararajan
• Chennai Central: Vinoj P Selvam
• Vellore: AC Shanmugam
• Krishnagiri: C Narasimhan
• Nilgiris (SC): L Murugan
• Coimbatore: K Annamalai
• Perambalur: TR Parivendhar
• Thoothukudi: Nainar Nagendran
• Kanniyakumari: Pon Radhakrishnan
