Nishad Kumar won a silver medal in the men’s high jump T47 event at the Paris Paralympics, achieving his season-best jump of 2.04 meters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Kumar on X, celebrating his accomplishment. This marks Kumar’s second silver in the event, following his success at the Tokyo Paralympics. With this win, India’s medal tally in athletics at the Paralympics has reached three.
