Protest Over Water Shortage Turns Violent In Baramulla

In North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, a protest over drinking water shortages turned violent on Friday. Demonstrators blocked the national highway in Narbal, throwing stones at vehicles. The blockade trapped many vehicles, including ambulances. When police intervened, protestors responded with more stones, leading to clashes and police lathi charges.
