The Supreme Court on Wednesday, has prohibited Tiger Safari in the core regions of Uttarakhand’s Jim Corbett National Park. However, it has allowed the establishment of such safaris in the peripheral and buffer zones under certain conditions. The court criticized the political and bureaucratic collusion causing environmental damage and instructed the CBI to provide a status report on its investigation within three months.
