Supreme Court Orders Immediate Release Of NewsClick Founder

The Supreme Court ordered NewsClick Editor Prabir Purkayasthaโ€™s release after reviewing his plea against his UAPA arrest by Delhi Police. Justices BR Gavai and Sandeep Mehta ruled the arrest void due to the lack of a Remand copy. His release is contingent on the trial courtโ€™s approval and bail bond submission.
