JD(U) leader Khalid Anwar broke from the NDAโ€™s stance on CAA, stating it wonโ€™t apply in Bihar. Anwarโ€™s stance is notable as JD(U) is an ally of the BJP in Bihar. He cited JD(U) chief Nitish Kumarโ€™s rejection of CAA, asserting that all 13 crore Bihar residents are Biharis, making CAA unnecessary. Anwar assured that he would have no worries about CAA as long as Nitish Kumar is in power.
