Kumar faces charges of assaulting AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at the chief minister’s residence on May 13. Presented via video conferencing, the magistrate directed Delhi Police to produce him on June 22, after extending his custody by one day on Friday due to the investigating officer’s absence.
