Uttarakhand Police Step In Amid Muslim Traders’ Eviction Threat

Uttarakhand police have charged Dharchula traders’ union members for revoking the registrations of 91 mostly Muslim shopkeepers, instructing them to shut down and depart. The union accused non-local shopkeepers of unlawful activities, prompting police to file a suo-moto FIR against six named and 40 unidentified individuals associated with the union.
