West Bengal: Man beaten To Death On Suspicion Of Theft

A man died after being beaten by a mob on suspicion of theft in West Bengal, following a similar attack on a couple in North Dinajpur. Sourav Shaw and a friend were attacked in Jamboni, Jhargram district, on June 22 while returning home. Suspected of theft near a construction site, the mob assaulted them. Sourav died after nine days in the hospital, while his friend still remains critical.
