Omar questions Air India for refusing to answer RTI about PM’s flight records

Srinagar, Mar 26: Questioning Air India’s refusal to disclose Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flight record under Right to Information (RTI), former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said how the information was secret when all visits took place in the glare of massive media coverage.

Mr Abdullah, working president of the main opposition National Conference (NC), was reacting to media reports that Air India refused to disclose the flight records saying PM Modi’s flight records cannot be disclosed under RTI due to security reasons.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter Mr Abdullah said “ I can understand questions related to forthcoming visits but how is information regarding flights/visits already undertaken a security risk? All visits took place in the glare of massive media coverage”.
