“Maharashtra has been badly hit but still shows mortality rate 200 times lesser than Gujarat. The Leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi Government have come together like an unbeatable force.”
Maharashtra | The Government sitting in the union of our beloved country has no right to make statements about anyone in the current scenario, basis their ridiculed way of handling this Pandemic. Let’s first get this cleared, A & B fought the battle together with an agreement and understanding of the way forward in case of their victory. Unfortunately, A is being led by power-hungry and selfish leaders, which caused injustice to the said promises after a clear win in the battle. C & D did not fare with high numbers and humbly accepted the result placed on them. In such a situation, B obviously wanted to safeguard the interests of the entire state, his people, and his party hence, he joined with C & D to declare a victory of three, together, like never before.
For if you did not get this, yes, we are talking about the Maha Vikas Agadi Government currently ruling Maharashtra. It is imperative to understand and acknowledge that the situation we currently live in if unforeseen and unprecedented but definitely not an absolute surprise as the apex leader of INC Rahul Gandhi brought forth the risk and dangers of Covid-19 to the country early February. While our fancy and PR driven Government was busy hosting the President of the USA in India and entertaining an absurd number of guests from abroad, the opposition did their best in making the ruling Government identify an upcoming calamity and start off early like even the smaller nations did (Sri Lanka).
Despite being a failure at handling the current situation with logic, information, knowledge, technology, etc. the BJP is still playing petty politics by highlighting the wrongs of Congress driven states in the country. The BJP recently blamed the disruptive Government formation of Maharashtra as the sole cause of the impact of Covid-19 there completely disregarding some factual and commonsensical explanations. The state of Maharashtra is one of the largest states in the country both by revenue, geography, and population. The state houses lakhs of workers who have been able to lead decent lives by living and earning in Maharashtra. The state houses the Financial Capital of the country and also the largest slum of the continent within itself. Amidst, leaders like Devendra Fadnavis are still not backing down from playing petty politics and defaming the Government in Media. For a leader from the opposition who has the benefit of a running Government in the centre, Fadnavis should have played a major role in being able to help his State and Union mediate to ensure his people are taken care of during this pandemic. The truth however is fully otherwise.
The Central Government has not only failed at its Union List duties but also has shown incomparable bias towards their Government driven state for funding, distribution of PPEs, and other essentials.
Sure Maharashtra has been badly hit but still shows mortality rate 200 times lesser than Gujarat. The Leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi Government have come together like an unbeatable force, with each minister putting in their best to ensure they justify their positions and do good by their people in times of such crisis. Maharashtra does seem to at least have leaders like Balasaheb Thorat and Ajit Pawar ensuring both their sides give in their best ably sphere headed by CM Uddhav Thackrey who have the courage and courtesy to come and address his people regularly with relevant, factual and statistical updates and not mere stunts and activities.
While on the other side, the BJP run states like Uttar Pradesh have help migrant labor buses from Congress states like Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Chhatisgarh held on their borders for weeks just to create a nuisance. With the highest number of self procured PPE kits, transparent and high testing and effort-full management of all pillars of a functioning Government, a state which is the size of many countries is, unfortunately, running singularly as well as the Central Government is showing no interest in helping their people today.
