“100 days of No Vikas,” Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi mock Modi govt

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slammed him saying that there has been no development in the last 100 days of second Modi govt.

New Delhi| The second Modi government completed 100 days on Saturday. It was on May 30 that Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the oath of office for the second time. The second cabinet was sworn-in too. Since then it has been an action-packed 100 days for the Modi govt. From abrogation of Article 370, the passing of Triple Talaq and Slowing economy, the govt’s journey has been rocky.

The opposition, however, is slamming the govt for no development in the 100 days. Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi slammed him saying that there has been no development in the last 100 days of second Modi govt. He also mocked the government over its failure to revive a “ravaged economy”.

Rahul Gandhi in his tweet said, “Congratulations to the Modi Govt on #100DaysNoVikas, the continued subversion of democracy, a firmer stranglehold on a submissive media to drown out criticism and a glaring lack of leadership, direction & plans where it’s needed the most – to turnaround our ravaged economy.”

However, Rahul Gandhi isn’t the only one attacking the Modi govt over the completion of 100 days into power. His sister Priyanka Gandhi too is slamming the govt. In a tweet, Priyanka Gandhi said that the government is sitting silent after destroying the economy. She said, “The companies are in a state of disrepair, Trade has slowed down. Meanwhile, they (Modi govt) are hiding from people this true picture by propaganda and lies.”
