The Delhi Police has booked AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi over inflammatory remarks.
New Delhi: The IFSO unit of Delhi Police has filed a FIR against AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi for allegedly making provocative remarks yesterday. The name of Swami Yati Narsinghanand is also mentioned in the FIR.
Earlier, Former Bharatiya Janata Party Spokesperson and journalist Saba Naqvi, were among others booked by the Delhi Police on account of hate remarks on social media.
The Delhi Police, on the 8th of June, stated that Saba Naqvi suspended head of the party’s Delhi unit media head Naveen Kumar Jindal, cleric Maulana Mufti Nadeem, Hindu Mahasabha leader Pooja Shakun Pandey and Shabab Chauhan speaker of the Peace Party, Shadab Chauhan, Anil Kumar Meena, Gulzar Ansari were among whom two first investigation reports were filed on account of unpleasant remarks.
Outrageous comments made over Prophet Muhammad by Naqvi earlier this week found international reception in the form of diplomatic statements from around the globe expressing utmost distaste. Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are among a few nations who have strongly condemned the remarks made.
