“Ajit Pawar backstabbed Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar has nothing to do with it”: Sanjay Raut

Sanjay Raut said, “Yesterday Ajit Pawar was not talking to us in the meeting. His body language was different, Sharad Pawar felt it too.”

Mumbai| ShivSena’s statement has come out in the midst of political disturbances in the govt formation in Maharashtra. Senior ShivSena leader and spokesperson Sanjay Raut has said that the public will teach them a lesson for the action taken by BJP and Ajit Pawar. In a dramatic incident on Saturday morning, the Governor of the state, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, administered the oath of office to BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis as Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party leader Ajit Pawar as Deputy Chief Minister.

Earlier, Sharad Pawar had said on Friday night that there was agreement among NCP, Congress and ShivSena that Uddhav Thackeray should lead the new government. Referring to this, Shiv Sena spokesman Sanjay Raut said, “Yesterday Ajit Pawar was not talking to us in the meeting. His body language was different, Sharad Pawar felt it too. Ajit Pawar went out in a while and his phone went off. Sharad Pawar has nothing to do with this development.”

Raut further said, “Ajit Pawar has put a dagger in the back of Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar has nothing to do with it. This deception has happened to the people of Maharashtra and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The public will teach a lesson to the BJP and Ajit Pawar.ā€ The impact of this political earthquake in the politics of Maharashtra may affect the Shiv Sena the most. A day ago, ShivSena leader Uddhav Thackeray was said to be the next Chief Minister of the state, whereas today the game has completely changed.
